Just a few days away from the launch of my first Ebook- 'The Adventures of Romanchak".Its a Trilogy series. Nervous, excited, pensive, angry..all kinds of emotions kicking in. Feel a lot of pressure on my shoulders. 'Romanchak' was an idea I had for an animation film I wanted to make a few years ago. Animation Films should have been competing with live action but sadly India makes very few animation films. 'Romanchak' could not have been made in that kind of unresponsive environment. I kept the idea on the back- burner for three years. But I could never let go of 'Romanchak'. He would always come back to my thoughts. There wasn't a single day I wouldn't think about him. He followed me everywhere I would go.
Suddenly last year during a lazy evening walk with my dad where we talked about the lack of fantasy adventure book authors from India, did he mention about 'Romanchak" and whether I could present him in the book form rather than the screenplay that i always had in my mind. I pondered for a day or two. I had my doubts. The initial story wasn't vast enough for the book form. But dad persisted with the idea. He asked me several questions pertaining to the journey of 'Romanchak' and slowly the idea was nurtured into a full length story that could be developed into an exciting book. Then when the first draft was completed, it sowed the seeds for a sequel and then the third as well. A Trilogy was born!! The First Part of the Trilogy will be out next week!! Its called 'EXPEDITION TO THE MAGICiAN'S CASTLE'. I am back to biting my nails!!
